Allure of the Seas

My first-ever cruise. Royal Caribbean's Allure of the Seas, out of Fort Lauderdale.

Labadee in Haiti, San Juan in Puerto Rico, St. Maarten, St. Kitts. I had no idea what to expect from a cruise — I'd assumed it would feel like being trapped on a floating mall — but the ports kept it interesting and the sea days were better than I expected. I was hooked enough to do it again twelve months later.

These photos sat in my Apple Photos library for years before I revisited them. They're a useful time capsule — I look noticeably younger.
