Flew to San Francisco for the RSA Conference, then turned the work trip into a longer California road trip. Drove down through Santa Barbara, Old Malibu, into LA.

RSA in 2014 was a different kind of security conference than DEF CON — suits instead of black t-shirts, vendor halls instead of villages. I learned a lot from both versions of the same industry.

The PCH part is the part I remember. Pulling off at every overlook, ignoring the calendar, eating fish tacos in beach towns whose names I forgot two days later.
