A solo birthday trip that started in Toronto. The CN Tower EdgeWalk — strapped into a harness, walking on the outside edge of the tower at 356 meters above the city — was the kind of birthday gift you give yourself when you don't trust anyone else to pick the right one.

From Toronto down to Saint Lucia and Barbados. Beausejour and Grande Riviere on the western coast of Saint Lucia, Bridgetown in Barbados. A few days of warm water and Caribbean sun to balance the wind chill on the CN Tower walk.
